David Drobman Drobman, David
(81) Born Nov. 8, 1921, in Boston, of Russian Jewish immigrant
parents. Died peacefully at home with his family in Westlake Village the
morning of May 25, after a long, brave battle with the ravages of Parkinson's
Disease. Fondly known as "Dave," his cycle of life has been greatly
blessed, as he is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ruth; loving
children Linda Tatum, Jeffrey Drobman, Susan Riessen (Greg) and Deborah
Psomas; loving grandchildren Tracy Yort ( Monty), Lara Baumgarten (Spencer),
Alison Petrocelli (Daniel), Donovan Tatum, and Jennifer, Hayley, Alexandra,
Jordan Riessen, and Shannon Psomas; loving great-grandchildren Monty and
Megan Yort, Bayley, Jane and Kate Baumgarten, and Anna Petrocelli. A WWII
Marine Corps veteran, Dave lived in No. Hollywood for the 35 years he was in
the used car business (Sirrot Motors, So. Gate), then moved to Westlake
Village for the last 13 years. Dave was always a car man, just as proud of
his first Model A Ford and his last Lincoln. A card sharp, he held sway over
his pinochle and poker groups; and as a bowler, Dave had a garage full of
trophies. His other sports passions were fishing and golf. Dave's charitable
work included the B'nai B'rith Haverim of Agoura, and the Jewish War Veterans
of Conejo Valley . The family suggests donations to The National Parkinson
Foundation Services 11:00 Am Tuesday, May 27, Mt. Sinai Chapel, Mount Sinai
Memorial Parks, Mount Sinai Mortuary. .
